To meet code requirements for high wind load conditions, Pleko Therm System is used with Pleko mechanical fasteners.  

Our exclusive fastener holds the insulation board securely to the substrate, where wall insulation applications.  An excellent choice for industrial, commercial and residential structures.

The rigid insulation board made of expanded polystyrene or polyisocyanurate reduces heat flow through the wall.

Normally 2 inches thick, (3/4 to 4 inches with EPS board and 3/4 to 2 inches with Polyisocyanurate board).  The insulation board forms the base of the system.

For added strength, an alkaline resistant woven fiberglass mesh is embedded in the base coat layer.  The mesh also prevents cracking, splitting or peeling of the finish coat.

PLEKO PERMAFAST ADHESIVE- An acrylic copolymer dispersion adhesive.  Economical, easy to apply and dries in a shorter time period making it possible to rasp on the same day.

PLEKO THERM ADHESIVE- An acrylic polymer modified cemetitious adhesive used to attach EPS boards to substrate.

PLEKO DRY THERM ADHESIVE- A dry blended acrylic polymer modified cementitious adhesive.  Convenient, accurate and ready to use.  No need for field mixing .  Just add water, mix and go.

PLEKO CEMENTITIOUS BASE COAT- An acrylic polymer modified cementitious base coat used in embedding fiberglass reinforcing mesh.

PLEKO NON-CEMENTITIOUS BASE COAT- An acrylic polymer based synthetic base coat.  Used for embedding mesh in the direct apply system using plywood and wood based boards also recommended for use in embedding high impact mesh.

Pleko’s exclusive fasteners hold the insulation board securely to the substrate.  The Pleko fastener is optional, but must be used to conform to code requirements.  It withstands wind loading that can pull off other finishes in multi-story applications.  These unique fasteners are available in a variety of sizes and styles to meet application needs.

These synthetic coatings stand up to all kinds of weather. Available in a variety of textures and colors, they provide a tough, washable, protective coating.
